Description: The Minnesota Service Cooperatives (MSCs) were established by the Minnesota Legislature in the 1970s primarily to competitively bid products and services for the local school systems in Minnesota. In 1995 the Legislature expanded their role to include local governments and non-profit companies. Specified members of the NCEMSC are eligible to access preferred pricing through the MSCs as long as membership in the NCEMSC is active. Employees may access insurance products like auto and home insurance. Some products and services may not be available in all states in the NCEMSC service area.
Products and services available through the MSCs include: athletic supplies, art supplies, food service, custodial supplies, health and safety products, audio-visual & other light bulbs, industrial technology products, Claris and Microsoft products, computers and peripherals, software, copiers and printers, toner, technology training, network design, interactive TV, health insurance, other benefit insurance, auto & homeowners insurance, environmental/OSHA training and human resources training.
